Questions Valeria is often asked
What specific therapeutic techniques or frameworks do you use in our sessions?
I tailor my approach to your unique needs using a variety of evidence-based modalities. In addition to EMDR, I actively utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic, Narrative, Attachment-based, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
I am ready to schedule a session, but how do you accept payment?
I try to make the payment process as seamless as possible. You can pay for your sessions using Cash, Zelle, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa.
Will we only focus on my current day-to-day problems, or do we look at my history?
We will look at both. I firmly believe that much of your current struggles are rooted in your past experiences and shape your present reality. We will safely explore that history to address the most vulnerable aspects of your life and drive true healing.
How do I know if I am the right fit for your specific therapy style?
I work best with motivated, open-minded adults who are truly ready to do the work. My approach requires a willingness to delve into discomfort. If you are not entirely shying away from life's tougher aspects and want to experience significant transformation, we will be an excellent fit.
