About Sally
Hi, I'm Sally Scheidlinger, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of San Francisco, CA. Let's be honest - life can be terrifying. You may be struggling with issues at work, challenges with partners and friends, loneliness, or even life-altering grief. Even when things are going well, there can be a nagging feeling we need to do more. Why not build a partnership to work through all of this on a regular basis?
You deserve to take space for yourself to process painful experiences and tend to your needs, and I would be honored to provide that for you. I offer a warm, nonjudgemental atmosphere where we will build on your unique strengths, identify and address barriers, and develop skills to better navigate and tolerate all the difficult feelings in between.
I specialize in working with grief, anxiety, depression, survivors of suicide loss, self-esteem, trauma, and LGBTQ+-specific issues. I am an IFS-informed and EMDR-certified therapist, and my approach is person-centered, drawing from principles of CBT, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness. Together, we will use these tools to help you move through pain with compassion and strengthen your capacity to bounce back from it more quickly.
