About Rachel
Hi, my name is Rachel Garcia, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Atlanta, Georgia. Existing in unprecedented and scary times has never felt more confusing, and we are exhausted. If you are tired of carrying the weight of grief and injustice, burned out by a broken system, and desperate to be met in the heavy—I am so glad you're here.
I invite you to join me in a safe and judgment-free space, where you don't have to pretend to have it all together, but you always belong. As an ADHD/Autistic therapist, I provide a dopamine-friendly, creative space for my clients to show up authentically and fully themselves. By understanding the implications of a differently wired brain in a neurotypical society, I am able to join my clients in intentional and specific ways that allows them to feel seen, heard, and understood right where they are at.
The work I do often lands at the intersection of where trauma and neurodiversity collide. Together we will expand understanding of who you are, what you need to live well, and how to shift our focus from capability to sustainability. From a somatic lens, we will navigate healing from the bottom up, so that your nervous system can finally know how safety feels. You deserve to belong without having to change who you are. This space is FOR you, and so am I. Let's figure it out together!
