About Esther
Hi, my name is Esther Teitelbaum, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Lawrence, New York.
As someone who has worked extensively with survivors of domestic violence and trauma, I have a deep understanding of how the body can hold onto past experiences and how personal struggles can impact your ability to succeed emotionally, financially, and physically. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and inviting space—available both in-person and online—to help you navigate these challenges.
In our work together, I draw upon a variety of modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic approaches to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. We will focus on noticing body sensations, utilizing breathing techniques, and bringing awareness to the mind-body connection to help you make sense of your patterns.
