Coleen Groen

Hi, I'm Coleen Groen, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist.

For over two decades, I have enjoyed diverse healthcare experiences in my practice. Having worked across various regions in the country, my extensive background contributes to my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to support individuals through the complexities of trauma and other psychological stressors, fostering resiliency in the aftermath. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in compassion, reflecting my commitment to empowering individuals on their journey to emotional recovery.

I utilize a client-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are, and encouraging authenticity, vulnerability, and self-compassion. With trust, connection, and understanding at the core, clients are provided with a loving and open-hearted space to share and own their journey.

My areas of specialization span reproductive mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, parenting support, marital distress, life transitions, and grief. The dedication to my work  comes from the support of others I have received along the way.
